Summer Cocktail Mixing Class (07/29/2026)

Learn how mix summer cocktails for your next pool party!

Western Reserve Distillery will be hosting a summer cocktail class to ensure your next backyard BBQ is the talk of the town.

We will be learning how to make three traditional summer cocktails; cost of admissions covers materials and instructor fees.

The class starts at 6:00 PM, so try to arrive early if you can.

If you wish to cancel your registration, you may do so no later than July 27th to receive a credit to your 20/30 account for use toward future events (no cash refunds). No credits will be offered after July 27th. If you have any questions, please contact education@cleveland2030.org.

Join the Club for our August Around Town at 1330 on the River, one of Cleveland’s favorite waterfront destinations located along the East Bank of the Flats!

Set against the scenic backdrop of the Cuyahoga River, 1330 on the River offers a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere that is perfect for connecting with fellow young professionals. Featuring expansive outdoor patios, beautiful river views, and a lively social setting, this venue provides the ideal environment to grow your network, meet new people, and enjoy a summer evening in one of Cleveland’s most exciting neighborhoods.

Whether you are new to the Club, looking to expand your professional connections, reconnect with familiar faces, or simply enjoy a night out along the river, this event offers something for everyone.

The venue features a variety of craft beers, signature cocktails, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and a full food menu available for purchase throughout the evening.

We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, August 6, at 5:30 PM for an evening of networking, conversation, and great views at 1330 on the River!

Our Around Town networking socials are hosted on the first Thursday of every month at awesome venues across Cleveland and are our largest monthly meetup. These events are a great place to meet new people, have fun with friends, and learn more about the Club. Around Towns are always free for Professional and Social members, and guests are encouraged and welcome to attend. Event attendees come from all walks of life and typically range in ages 25-45.

We encourage young professionals from all industries and professions to attend networking events. Sales, Accountants, Lawyers, Engineers, IT, Educators, Entrepreneurs, Physicians, Nurses, Real Estate, Elected Officials, Marketing, Banking, Architects, Government, Insurance, Finance, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, HR, and more.

Registration is recommended. Cash bar will be available. As a way of saying "thank you" to the our venue for hosting us for this month's Around Town, an automatic gratuity will be added to each check.

We'll be participating in the annual "RoadRokr 5k " event in Akron's highland square neighborhood. Runners and walkers are both welcome to join.

We were able to negotiate a great rate with the race organizer. And mimosas(or just OJ) will be provided during the post-race Brunch event at Mustard Seed Cafe(near the finish line).

7:00-7:30AM Arrival and Bib pick up.
8AM: 5K kick off
9AM: Brunch with mimosa
11AM(optional): Group up to go to Akron's annual PorchRokr Festival

You must "Register" here with us to qualify, regular race registration do not include the post-race brunch! You do NOT need to register on Runsignup separately, We will forward your registration with us to the 5k host.

CEO Dinner with Carey Jaros - President, Clorox Purell (08/20/2026)

Join us for this special edition CEO Dinner hosted by The Last Page in Pinecrest. The dinner will be held in their private dining space, the Athena Room. Seating is limited to only 10 attendees, so grab your spot before we fill up!

The CEO Dinner series is one of the organization's longest standing institutions. Attendees have the opportunity to join local C-suite and high level executive leaders for a private dinner. These events are intentionally limited to ~10 people so everyone has a chance to listen, learn, share and grow together through honest discussion. The speakers represent a wide range of companies and industries, both big and small.

Cost to attend this limited seating event is $50, which includes dinner and non-alcoholic beverages. Drink tickets are also available to purchase during registration, but are not required.

About the CEO

Carey Jaros is President of Clorox Purell, within The Clorox Company. Carey became President of Clorox Purell in 2026, after leading the sale of 80-year-old GOJO Industries to The Clorox Company. She joined GOJO in 2014 as a board member, then held executive roles as Chief Strategy Officer – where she oversaw Marketing, Product Management and Innovation – and as Chief Operating Officer, before becoming President and CEO in January 2020.

Carey brings deep passion for saving lives and helping people stay healthy and well to her daily work at Clorox Purell, where she leads the Clorox Purell Professional business and oversees shared services like innovation, R&D and manufacturing, which support the growth of Purell products globally. Through market-making innovation, the best distributor and customer relationships in the industry, and a vertically integrated, highly automated supply chain, Jaros and her team set new standards for hygiene.

As an operator, investor, and board member, Carey has worked with and in more than 50 organizations—from established public and private companies to startups and nonprofits. Prior to GOJO, Carey was the President of Walnut Ridge Strategic Management Company, and was a Vice President at Dealer Tire, a large privately held tire distributor. She spent the first 12 years of her career as a management consultant at Bain & Company.

Carey is a Board Director and Compensation Committee Chair of Grocery Outlet (NASDAQ: GO) and Advisory Board Member of venture-backed menstrual products startup Aunt Flow. She also serves on the Boards of The Cleveland Foundation, University Hospitals, and Laurel School.

Carey received her A.B. in Public Policy from Brown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the rich traditions and vibrant festivities of Cleveland Oktoberfest!

This festival is Northeast Ohio’s largest outdoor event, which attracts over 100,000 visitors each year. Even more, in 2023, USA Today had named Cleveland Oktoberfest as the Top Oktoberfest in the country.

This festival celebrates German culture with live musical performances, fireworks, wiener dog races, gift shops, great food, and bier from local breweries.

Fall is just around the corner and what better way to ring in the changing seasons than picking your own apples at Patterson’s Fruit Farm! Come experience the beauty of homegrown goodness, freshly baked goods, seasonal produce, and all things local and homemade!

Please wear the correct shoes as you are on a working farm and you will be in the orchard. Due to health and safety food regulations and laws, Patterson Fruit Farm cannot allow animals in any of their orchards. We love our pets, but we must follow the law. Service dogs are welcome and need to be properly identified.
