Like any house, Cleveland Ronald McDonald House needs constant upkeep, cleaning, repair, gardening and organization. Considering that our house welcomes over 1,300 families each year, our needs are multiplied! As well, the Cleveland Ronald McDonald House in is situated on several acres – surrounded by beautiful trees, shrubs, flowers, herb gardens, decorative grasses, and lawn. Outdoor features also include a koi pond, bird houses, children’s play areas, a treehouse, and contemplative walkway. The grounds of the House have become a place where parents and patients can find peace within walking distance of the hospital. We are dependent upon volunteer help to maintain our outdoor spaces and inside care. We invite groups to help in these tasks and keep our house running!  

Responsibilites may include outdoor activities such as gardening, painting, organizing, and mulching. Indoor activities include cleaning, sanitizing, preparing rooms, and organizing.
