Join us for a fun afternoon of pickleball!

We’re jumping into an Open Play session at the Cleveland Pickleball Center—a great way to connect with club members and meet the local pickleball community!

    About Open Play

    • A public session open to all skill levels

    • Paddles and balls provided by the 20/30 Club

      1. Buy Your Ticket ($10).

The session is capped at 32 players, so register early!

      2. Club Sign-Up: Register here on this event page so we know to look for you.

      When You Arrive

      • Check in as an individual using your name and mention you’re here for Open Play.
      • We’ll be on the designated Open Play courts.

Be sure to check your confirmation email for the organizer’s contact info.

Let's tour the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland!

Want to learn how the U.S. monetary system works? We'll be taking a tour of the Cleveland Federal Reserve bank on March 18th to learn about the history of money, cybersecurity, cash operations, and also to see a rather pretty building.

      More information at: https://www.clevelandfed.org/about-us/visit-us#education-and-learning-center-self-guided-tours

Note: there is no onsite parking, but there are lots nearby

Stop trying to change others. Start reclaiming your power.

We’ve been told that boundaries are about telling other people how to behave. We think that if our boss emails us at 9:00 PM or a friend demands too much of our time, they are breaking our boundaries.

The hard truth? No one can break your boundaries but you.

        Join us for
a transformative session with Communication Coach Jolie Higazi designed specifically for professionals who are tired of the "people-pleasing" cycle. In this workshop, we’re moving past the buzzwords to explore the reality of personal accountability. You’ll learn why boundaries aren't walls to keep people out, but the gates that allow you to have the relationships that feel aligned.

We will move beyond theory into practice, giving you the space to inventory your life and identify exactly where you’ve been giving your power away.

        Key Takeaways:
The Accountability Shift: Understand why a boundary is a promise you make to yourself, not a rule you enforce on others.

The Myth of "The Boundary Breaker": Discover why the stress you feel from others' behavior is actually a signal for you to change, not them.

The Power of the Authentic 'No': Learn how to tune inward and stop the reflexive "yes" that leads to burnout.

Personal Inventory & Practice: Walk away with a customized list of boundaries tailored to your current professional and personal needs.

        Parking:

Free street parking available (watch the signs). Paid lot parking, plus 4 complimentary Limelight-reserved spots (first come, first serve).

A physician, public health expert, and former Director of the Ohio Department of Health, Dr. Acton became widely known for her leadership and calm, thoughtful communication during one of the most challenging moments in recent history. This special Lessons in Leadership program is designed for young professionals looking to grow as leaders in their careers and communities. In an intimate fireside chat style conversation, Dr. Acton will share reflections from her journey in medicine, public service, philanthropy, and community leadership. About Dr. Amy Acton

Dr. Amy Acton is a lifelong public servant who has spent her career fighting for the people of Ohio. Amy grew up in Youngstown, where she faced a tough childhood and overcame abuse, hunger, and periods of homelessness. She put herself through college and medical school here in Ohio and did her residency in Columbus at Children’s Hospital. Dr. Acton continued her work as a doctor and public health expert at The Ohio State University and the Columbus Foundation.

As the former Director of the Ohio Department of Health under Governor DeWine, Amy tackled the opioid crisis, held prescription drug companies accountable, and led the state through the COVID-19 pandemic, saving countless lives and helping Ohio’s economy and schools open sooner than other states.

Dr. Acton is running for Governor of Ohio because she refuses to look the other way as Ohio’s working families struggle to get by while politicians in Columbus cater to special interests, corporations, and billionaires. She’s fighting for a state where Ohioans can thrive.

"I really enjoyed the program, and once I met everyone in the cohort, it made attending other Club events easier. I always saw familiar faces when I otherwise would have been overwhelmed by attending my first event and not knowing anyone. The kick-off brunch was so much fun. We played a dozen ice breaker games to ensure we got to know everyone and learned about our common interests. You could hear our laughter from down the hall. The program is excellent and Melinda, the program manager, is awesome. I loved the Facebook group chat because it gave us a closer sense of community and allowed us to keep in touch throughout the four months so we could organize last minute meetups. I can't stop raving to my friends and family how awesome this entire club is!" - Katriina Floderus, Cohort Two

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and make a difference!

Join the Club on Saturday, April 11th, for a high-impact volunteer session at the Cleveland Kids’ Book Bank. We’ll be working together to sort and prep books for children across our community, ensuring every kid has a story to call their own. Because this is a hands-on warehouse environment, all volunteers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and should opt for comfortable clothes that they don’t mind getting a little dusty.

To stay hydrated while we work, please bring a reusable water bottle to take advantage of the bank's cold-water cooler. The bank  will also have plenty of snacks on hand to keep the team fueled up!

To ensure a smooth kickoff, please plan to arrive no earlier than 12:45 PM, as the facility will be prepping for our arrival. Space for this event is strictly limited to just 20 volunteers, and these spots always fill up in a flash. Don't be a spectator—hustle over to the registration link and sign up now before the guest list is full!

Note: You will need to register on the bank’s volunteer website. The link and password will be sent via email closer to the event date.

You're succeeding at work. Your career is on track. And somewhere along the way, you lost the plot on everything else — your friendships have become logistics, your hobbies feel like luxuries you can't afford, and you're not even sure what a full life looks like anymore. Success at work shouldn't mean failure everywhere else.

In this 75-minute workshop, we'll dismantle the myth that ambition requires sacrifice and explore what it actually takes to build a life where you're winning across the board — at work, with people who matter, and for yourself. You'll learn the difference between forcing yourself through willpower (which has a ceiling) and leading from sustainable devotion (which doesn't). We'll map where you're abandoning yourself in the name of achievement, and you'll leave with a framework for pursuing everything you want without trading your presence, your relationships, or your sanity to get there.

This is not another productivity hack, but rather a recalibration of how you approach success.

        Parking:

Free street parking available (watch the signs). Paid lot parking, plus 4 complimentary Limelight-reserved spots (first come, first serve).

        Bio:

Hélène Caniac spent years investigating crime for the United States Air Force before realizing the most pervasive thing she'd ever investigate was the quiet epidemic of high-achieving millennials abandoning themselves to succeed. Now a leadership mentor and sacred strategist, she teaches ambitious professionals to build lives that are pleasure-led rather than productivity-driven — because having it all shouldn't require doing it all, or waiting 'til you're 60 to enjoy your wild and precious life. She serves on three Cleveland nonprofit boards and leads the Self-Expression Academy, a year-long program for high achievers ready to lead from fulfillment instead of depletion. When she's not challenging everything you think ambition looks like, she's probably talking to trees or riding a horse. Find out more at www.helenecanhelp.com

The Cleveland 20-30 Club & Plexus LGBTQ+ Young Professionals Committee invites you to this special edition QEO Dinner (Queer Executive Officer) —an evening of connection, conversation, and inspiration.

Join us for a QEO Dinner rooted in curiosity, resilience, and bold ideas—featuring Steve Meka and Dave Willett, co-owners of STEM Handmade Soap.

What started as a simple science experiment in the basement of their Lakewood home became a thriving, mission-driven business. With a background in biochemistry, Steve spent 18 months researching, testing, and refining formulas to create the perfect all-natural bar of soap—guided by feedback from friends and family. Alongside Dave, they launched STEM with a simple website, a clear vision, and a commitment to quality, transparency, and innovation.

Today, STEM Handmade Soap is a standout example of what can happen when science, entrepreneurship, and purpose intersect.

This QEO Dinner offers an intimate opportunity—limited to 20–30 emerging professionals—to hear their story up close, ask questions, and connect with peers navigating their own professional journeys. Expect honest conversation about entrepreneurship, experimentation, setbacks, growth, and building something meaningful from the ground up.

Adding to the magic of the evening, we’re returning to Sophie La Gourmande, hosted and fed by Chef Bob Sferra—a former QEO Dinner guest and beloved part of the Plexus community. It’s a full-circle night of great food, great people, and great stories.

Dinner and beverages are included. Space is intentionally limited to keep the conversation real, relaxed, and personal.

This event is being hosted by the Plexus LGBT + Allied Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Cleveland Professional 20-30 Club. The event is open to all.

Cost - $40 for Plexus members and $45 for non-members. All members of the 20-30 Club are welcome to attend. Registration will be handled directly through the Plexus website.
