Join us for a vibrant, 3-to-4-mile guided trek along Independence's Hemlock Creek Trail. You’ll wander through a lush, forested gorge and cross a towering 200-foot bridge over the Cuyahoga River before reaching the historic Ohio & Erie Canal, an area steeped in local Cleveland lore.

Event Highlights:

•The Route: A scenic, 3–4 mile round-trip trek featuring steep, lushly wooded stretches, expansive river bridges, and the historic canal Towpath.

•The Afterparty: A group vote will decide our post-hike feast! Choose between two local Independence staples:

◦Winking Lizard Tavern: Kick back with award-winning wings, cold craft beers, and classic tavern fare in a sports-bar atmosphere.

◦Cozumel: Spice things up with authentic Mexican food, savory fajitas, and refreshing margaritas.
